How Oraculum works
Astrology makes predictions. Markets keep score. Oraculum puts the two together so you can find out whose reading of the sky actually holds up.
1. Every market is a question with a celestial window
We pair real, objectively checkable questions — a Bitcoin close, a World Series Game 7, a snowfall record — with the astrological event they fall under: Mercury retrograde, a Venus station, an eclipse, a full moon. Each market spells out exactly how it resolves and which public source decides it.
2. Prices are probabilities
A YES share pays ✦ 1 Stardustif the event happens and nothing if it doesn't (NO shares are the mirror image). If YES trades at 40%, the crowd thinks there's a 40% chance. Think it's higher? Buy YES. Lower? Buy NO.
Prices are quoted by an automated market maker using the Logarithmic Market Scoring Rule (LMSR). There is always someone to trade with, and every trade nudges the odds — big trades move them more. You see your exact shares, average price and new odds before you confirm.
3. Sell any time before the window opens
Changed your reading? Sell your shares back to the market at the current price. Trading halts at each market's close time, just as the celestial window begins.
4. Resolution and payouts
Once the outcome is public, the market resolves YES or NO and winning shares are paid into your wallet automatically. Resolved markets stay visible so everyone can check the Oracle's record.
5. Stardust
Your first prediction opens a wallet with ✦ 1,000 free Stardust. Stardust is a play currency: it has no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, sold, redeemed, or exchanged for money or prizes. Oraculum is entertainment, not financial advice.
6. Your wallet
No sign-up, no password. Your wallet is tied to your browser with a secure cookie. On the Portfoliopage you'll find a private recovery code — keep it safe and use it to restore your wallet on another device, or after clearing your browser.
7. The leaderboard
Seers are ranked by profit: net worth minus every Stardust they received.
